Still life

I want to become proficient with watercolor. I haven't used it since junior high, so I am somewhat pleased with this. I thought this would be a good exercise. All the reflections presented an exciting challenge. The snake is an Eastern Indigo, one of North America's largest snakes. I had to reference many pictures of many snakes to get the pose( should've just gone to the library huh?) The bottle is one of my colognes; look closely at the silver collar and you may be able to discern the brand! Mmm-mmm, smells good!
